Kwara United technical adviser Tunde Sanni has expressed disappointment with his team’s inability to convert their chances in their CAF Confederation Cup defeat to Asante Kotoko.
The Harmony Boys suffered a 5-3 aggregate loss to Asante Kotoko in the first round of the competition.

Kwara United were eliminated from the tournament following the two leg preliminary defeat (3-4, 0-1) Agg 5-4.
I’m highly disappointed that we scored three goals in Ghana and we couldn’t even convert one here. It’s really sad,” Sanni reacted
In a statement, the club’s chairman, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye described the early exit as painful and regrettable. He pleaded with fans to forgive the team, assuring them that Kwara United is determined to bounce back stronger.
“We apologize to our teeming and loyal fans and supporters for this unfortunate result. It was never our plan to crash at this early stage. ”

Kwara United will now shift focus to the Nigeria Premier Football League .
They are set to face Plateau United in a rescheduled Matchday-5 fixture in Ilorin on Thursday.
