Kwara State Governor Motivates OFFA Volleyball Club With Cash Incentives

Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has motivated OFFA Volleyball Club with cash incentives ahead of the ongoing 2021 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League in Ilorin.

The head coach of OFFA Volleyball Club, Suleiman Ajeigbe revealed this to newsmen in Ilorin.

Ajeigbe said OFFA VC will not disappoint the state adding that the incentive will go a long way in gearing the players up.

He commended the state government for supporting private sports club owners in the state.

Ajeigbe said, “I can confirm to you that Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has approved some funds to OFFA Volleyball Club to support us in our quest to make the state proud. I am surprised because the club never sees this kind gesture coming.

“The Club prepared so hard for the first phase of the 2021 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League and we had some financial challenges. With this kind gesture from the governor himself, I am optimistic the players will put up their best in the remaining matches.

“I want to thank the Governor for supporting individuals who are investing heavily in sports. He has shown to the world that he is not only a father to Kwara United Football Club but other sports in the state”.
