KG Sports Academy Resumes Training after Yuletide Break

KG Sports Academy Agbor returned to training on Wednesday 6th of January after two weeks break to celebrate the Yuletide Period.

The players in the U13, U16s, and U20s returned to training under the tutelage of Academy Coach David Itunu and Samuel Okonkwo.

At a Meeting Held on Tuesday 5th January to Usher in the New Year programs Academy Director Dr. Ken Gadaffi revealed the plans for the Academy in 2021.

According to the erudite Sports Administrator, KG Sports Academy will be involved in Several Tournaments this year including the Delta State League and Delta State FA Cup.

Dr. Ken Gadaffi Congratulated the players who all represented their respective Communities during the vavious December Tournaments and urged them not to relent in pursuant of their dreams.

24 Medals were won by KG Sports Academy players. 1 Gold in the 2020 Governor Okowa Cup, 3 Gold Medals in Owa Alero Tournament, 13 Silver Medals in the IKA Unity Cup, 5 Silver Medals in the Gov Okowa Cup, and 1 Bronze Medal in the Gov Okowa Cup, and 1 Bronze Medal in the Owa Alero Tournament.

“I am so Proud of you boys, you have done great in just 6 months of being together in KG Sports Academy and l hope that 2021 will be greater,” Dr. Ken Gadaffi told the gathering of players.
