KG Sports Academy Doubtful In Champions League Opener As Coach Loses Mum

KG Sports Academy Agbor are doubtful of playing their opening match of the AFCADU champions league. According to the Director of the Academy, Dr Ken Gadaffi, the Sudden demise of the Mother of the Head Coach Adeyinka Ogundeji has thrown the KG sports Academy camp in disarray ahead of their AFCADU Champions League Opener against Ekuku Agbor United on Sunday.

“We are not certain of honoring this week fixtures yet, Coach Adeyinka lost his mum on the eve of the Tournament last Friday and had to travel to his home state in Osun State which has affected our preparations” Dr Ken Gadaffi Stated. “He is expected to be back before the weekend clash, however family engagements with regards to the 7 days prayer for the late mum has held him back in Osun state which has subsequently affected our preparations” he added.

Meanwhile the Director is reconsidering recalling former coach Lasana Dukaray to handle the team in temporary capacity pending the return of coach Adeyinka. “Its an option we are looking at to salvage the sitaution. should Coach Lasana Dukaray be available then we may go ahead with the match but we have to wait to see” Dr ken Gadaffi enthused

Lasana Dukaray, the Sierra Leone born Coach handled KG sports in 2022 Bet9ja DFA State League before he was suspended by the DFA due to clash with match officials during one of the matches despite leading the team to top place in the Agbor Center after 4 weeks of actions that saw KG sports Win the 50,000 cash team of the week.
