Nigeria Ex International Chibuzor Okonkwo was officially unveiled on Wednesday as the Academy Ambassador for KG Sports Academy Agbor.
The ceremony was held before a friendly match between JC Raiders FC Asaba and KG Sports Academy U21 at the Asaba Government Area Squash Club Field.
While Presenting the Ambassador to the Academy boys, Director of KG Sports Academy Dr. Ken Gadaffi commended the efforts of former Kwara United player Chibuzor Okonkwo for his contributions towards grassroots Development in Asaba and Delta State.
He also admonished the academy players to emulate a player like Chibuzor Okonkwo who rose to play for the Super Eagles after being part of the 2008 Silver-winning Dream team Under Coach Samson Siasia.
Chibuzor Okonkwo Thanked KG Sports Management for the honor and pledged to help the young boys develop and be inspired to greater heights.
JC Raiders went on to win the match by a Lone goal after striker Nasarawa pounced on a loose ball and when Substitute Onyebuchi Chidubem failed to clear his line.
