Nigeria’s youth national team, Flying Eagles may be in for a tough time in breaking down the defence line of Kenya when both sides lock horns this Wednesday in their last group match at the African U20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Sports247 gathered that, though Kenya conceded three goals in each of their previous matches at the ongoing competition, they are now aiming at leaving the contest on a high.
Towards making that happen, the Rising Stars’ coach, Salim Babu said he will marshal his squad in a way that they would not fall to yet another avalanche of goals when they take on the Flying Eagles.
He equally acknowledged that losing 3-2 to Morocco in their first match and then 3-1 to Tunisia last weekend has not been a good sheet for his team, but quickly interjected that they also picked positives from both games ahead of the upcoming clash with Nigeria.
Babu retorted, “It’s bad, but not a write-off. The first match, we conceded 3-2 and we tried to tighten our defence in the next game but, again, we conceded three goals. It’s a team problem, and we can’t single out any individual.”
Babu concluded by expressing hope that all of his players will be able to rise to the occasion against Nigeria on Wednesday, as they want to head home with something to be proud of.
“It’s something we have to work on before we face our next opponent in our last match of the group. It’s a big task for us the technical staff, but we’ll do our best … so that, in our next match, we won’t concede the way we’ve been doing,” Babu enthused.
