Kentucky Signs D’Tigers Ugonna Kingsley Following 2023 To 2022 Reclassification

Kentucky has landed D’Tigers 7-foot four-star Ugonna Kingsley following his recent reclassification from 2023 to 2022.

This was done on Monday afternoon with John Calipari putting the finishing touches on Kentucky’s 2022 recruiting class with the last-minute addition of the Nigerian prodigy professional basketball player.

Kingsley who chose the Wildcats over Oklahoma was the highest-ranked uncommitted prospect in the 2022 class, thus giving UK one of the last remaining blue-chippers remaining ahead of the 2022-23 season.

At 7-foot and 233 pounds, he just so happens to fill a big need for Big Blue, too: its recruiting class before today did not consist of an incoming recruit who was taller than 6-foot-6.

D’Tigers wasted no time in wishing him success on his latest move with a post on thier verified twitter handle which read, ‘Congrats to the youngest player in Nigeria senior men’s National team history. Let’s go Ugo! https://t.co/GKXIe0u8Wx
