Kenny Ogunmiloro Hosts 3SC U-15 Team, As Club Boss Unveils Plans For Players

The Executive Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan (Akoro), has reiterated the plans of the club to keep the boys, who represented the Oluyole Warriors at the recently concluded 2022 NPFL/LALIGA U-15 Promises Youth League together.

The 3SC boss while speaking at a reception organised for the team, courtesy of sportscaster, Kenny Ogunmiloro, in collaboration with the management of the Kapital Kitchen, Ibadan, said the club would work together with the parents of the kids in this regards

Akoro, who commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for making it possible for the young lads to take part in the competition held at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, revealed that the club was ready to monitor the progress of the players in the game, while their education will also be prioritise.

“We will definitely meet with their parents to discuss our plans for these children and we are hoping everything will work as planned. In the next few years, some of these boys will feature for the 3SC main team”, added the former Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly.

Speaking earlier, the host of the event, Kenny Ogunmiloro, explained that the excellent performance of the team in Ikenne, where they finished second, after losing 0-2. to tournaments’ hosts, Remo Stars, motivated him to organise the reception.

“This is my own way of appreciating and celebrating you guys for doing both the state and 3SC proud at the tournament. You are worthy ambasadors who deserved to be celebrated”, stated Ogunmiloro who advised the young lads to shun acts that can ruin their career.

In his remarks at the event, Shooting Stars’ Director of Administration and Supply, Alhaji Rahman Olapade, expressed the appreciation of the entire 3SC to Ogunmiloro for honouring the 3SC cadet team, even as he eulogised the broadcaster for always standing by the club through thick and thin.

Cash rewards were splashed on the players by some individuals, including popular Yoruba sportscaster, Afeez Mohammed Cantona (#20, 000:00), Fowokan Adewale #(25,000:00) and Ibadan based licensed football agent, who apart from giving the team #25, 000 naira, also promised to sponsor 3SC player of the month award.
