Kemi Adegbuyi Targets NWFL Super-6 Ticket With FC Robo Queens

FC Robo Queens of Lagos fast-rising whiz-kid, Kemi Adegbuyi, has disclosed that her biggest target for this season is to help her club qualify for the Super-6 contest of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL), Sports247 reports.

While Adegbuyi also admitted she wants to achieve personal glory for herself, the enterprising youngster, who is still a secondary school student, pointed out that the bigger task is in helping her team win the league title.

She revealed her dreams and plans in an exclusive interview with Sports247, after helping Robo defeat Confluence Queens of Lokoja 4-0 in Lagos.

She also expressed delight with the brace of goals she scored in the encounter on Wednesday and prayed that she would score many more as the season progresses.

Adegbuyi disclosed, “I feel excited that I was able to score two goals. It wasn’t easy, but I thank God for making it possible for me.

“My plan is to score more goals in all our other games. I want to keep on doing well in all our matches, so that I can help my team qualify for the Super-6.”

Sports247 gathered that her performance on Wednesday, which was capped with well taken goals in the 54th and 56th minutes, set Adegbuyi on the way towards another major award in the NFWL.

The petite lass, who will clock 15 years old on March 17, started this year in style, when she emerged NWFL Player of The Month for January, and she looks sure to end 2025 on another glorious note
