Speculation continues to mount regarding the feather-haired fair-skinned star’s future at Westfalenstadion, with reports suggesting that his contract talks with Dortmund have hit a wall.
The 24-year-old midfielder’s current deal will expire in the summer of 2027, but the former Red Bull Salzburg of Austria battler insists reports linking him with a €60m exit from BVB this summer are off the mark.
Adeyemi told Ruhr Nachrichten: “What you read in the media isn’t always accurate. My focus is here. I’ve never said I feel uncomfortable or anything like that.
“My goal has always been to compete at the very top. Nevertheless, I’m not going to make pronouncements about other teams. I have a clear goal, and I’ll announce it every year, as long as I play here.”
