Ka’oje: We Must Not Let Sports Festival Die

Former sports minister, Bala Bawa Ka’oje has expressed satisfaction with the impending return of the National Sports Festival, and admonished current officials not to allow it die.

 

 

While recounting in a chat with sports247.ng how the festival was put on hold since Eko 2012, Ka’oje charged the current minister, Barrister Solomon Dalung to redouble efforts for this year’s edition.

 

 

Ka’;oje stated further that it is also imperative for other administrators coming in future to ensure they keep the legacy going by not allowing the festival become extinct.

As this year’s edition in Abuja draw closer, Ka’oje praised Dalung for the revival and admitted that he is happy to see the festival coming back.

“I am happy to see the National Sports Festival happening at this point in time, after a long absence, due to the inability of states to host it.

 

 

“The National Sports Festival is the avenue to find talented athletes who will bring glory to the nation in international events in years to come.”
