Kano State Government Lifts Lid On Sporting Activities…Disallow Fans, Competitive Games

Kano State Government through Ibrahim Galadima, Chairman, Kano State Sports Commission has declared a partial lift off sporting activities in the state in a statement issued by Abbati Sabo, Public Relations Officer of the Commission in Kano.

The decision was sequel to the partial lifting of restrictions on sports by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 and sports ministry.

“The Commission wishes to announce the partial lifting of restrictions on sports in the state, but the general public should note that only training are allowed, spectators are not allowed at the training events, while competitions should not be organized.”

The statement further urges that all sporting activities must take place in strict compliance with COVID-19 health measures.
