KANO PILLARS ON THE VERGE OF SETTING THE LONGEST UNBEATEN RECORD IN THE NPFL

Kano Pillars FC is on the verge of setting an unprecedented record of the most unbeaten matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.

The Sai Masu Gida would surpass Enyimba’s 13 games unbeaten record that was sets 15 year ago with a win or draw against MFM FC on Sunday at the Soccer Temple, Agege in the ongoing 2019/2020 NPFL Season.

The National champions have so far gone 13 matches unbeaten and the Media officer of the side, Rilawanu Idris Malikawa Garu has said that the team is in high spirit ahead of the Sunday’s crunch encounter.

Malikawa also quoted the captain of the said, Rabiu Ali Pele saying they are very much ready for the clash and would be aiming for the maximum points at stake.

Malikawa further gave more insight on the squad that traveled to Lagos in which newly recruited forward, Abbas Rabiu was left out due to the injury he sustained against Adamawa Utd while Victor Denis is preparing for his wedding ceremony.

Coach Ibrahim Musa Jugunu would have plenty players to chose from that includes Rahaku Adamu, Yusuf Maigoro, Usman Babalola, Musa Ahmad and Umar Maggi.

Others are, Chris Madaki, Nasiru Sani, Emanuel Anyawu, Abdullahi Musa, Auwalu Ali, Sunday Chinedu, Austin Uzochukwu, Ike Chinedu among others.

The four-time league champions are currently 8th on the log with 24 points from 16 matches played and have two games in hand against Enyimba and Rangers Int’l respectively.
