In line with its long-term vision to build a sustainable and competitive football structure, Kano Pillars Football Club has announced a sweeping restructuring of its youth teams as part of a renewed commitment to talent development and modernization.
In an official statement released by the club, the management, acting through its Technical Department, confirmed the dissolution of all technical crews and support staff of its youth teams—namely Junior Pillars, U-19, U-15, and U-13 categories—with immediate effect.

This decision also includes ancillary personnel such as curators, masseurs, and other backroom staff.
The club described the move as a bold and strategic step aimed at repositioning its youth system as a “formidable breeding ground” for grooming top-tier talent destined for the senior team.
“As a club with a rich history and strong legacy, we understand the critical role our youth structure plays in sustaining long-term success,” the statement read. “This restructuring is designed to introduce fresh ideas, modern coaching philosophies, and dynamic leadership into our development pipeline.”
New Appointments Announced
To ensure a smooth transition and immediate implementation of the club’s revised philosophy, new technical heads have been appointed across all youth categories:
Junior Pillars:
Technical Adviser: Ibrahim A. Musa
Head Coach: Coach Garzali
U-19 Team:
Coaches: Usman Ikramatu and Mustapha
Team Manager: Habu Kamara
U-15 Team:
Head Coach: Suleiman Ibrahim Yakasai (Lajin)
U-13 Team:
Coaches: Nura Platini and Tasiu Pele
The club noted that all newly appointed officials bring with them a wealth of experience and a shared passion for youth development.
