Kano Pillars Fc hands ‘three-game ultimatum to its technical crew’

The management of Kano Pillars under the leadership of Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Yahaya has given its Technical crew, headed by Ibrahim Musa Jugunu a three-match ultimatum to ‘improve on the team’s performance or face sanction’.

This follows the Aiteo cup holders one-nil home lose to Lobi Stars on Sunday and the matchday one fixture, which ended nil, nil against Rivers Utd a fortnight ago.

In a statement signed by the media officer of the four-time champion, Rulwanu Idris Malikawa and made available to www.kano-pillars.com,  said, the management of the club, under the leadership of Alhaji Surajo Yahaya, would not fold its arms and allowed things to continue this way.

The statement further said that the three-match ultimatum given is to help in improving the team’s performance and would take effect from the next NPFL game.

However, the management has called for an emergency meeting with the technical committee and some state’s top Government functionaries, on Monday 18th November 2019, and the meeting would be centred around the current situation the club found itself.

The Sai Masu Gidas have found themselves 17th on the Nigeria Professional Football League table with just a point from two matches ‘both played at home’.

In the meantime, Technical Adviser of the national champions, Ibrahim Musa Jugunu, has confirmed to the press shortly after the home defeat at the hands of Lobi Stars that he has more quality players at his disposal than last season. This is contrary to what he has been saying in the past that he “lacked quality players”.
