Nigerian winger Samuel Kalu provided the assist for the opening goal as Botev Plovdiv secured an impressive home league victory over Ludogorets Razgrad in a dramatic encounter.

The breakthrough came early in the second half when Kalu picked out Nikolay Minkov, who produced a superb right-footed lob in the 48th minute to give Botev Plovdiv a 1–0 lead.
Ludogorets responded late in the contest, with Vinícius Nogueira providing the assist for Idan Nachmias to head home the equaliser in the 81st minute.
Moments later, the match took another twist as Botev Plovdiv were reduced to 10 men. Defender Nikola Šoldo was shown a red card in the 82nd minute after pulling an opponent’s shirt, leaving the hosts under intense pressure in the closing stages.
Despite being a man down, Botev Plovdiv showed remarkable resilience and grabbed a dramatic late winner in stoppage time.
Nikola Iliev provided the assist for Carlos Algarra, who finished confidently with his right foot in the 90+3rd minute to seal all three points for the hosts.
The result represents a statement victory for Botev Plovdiv, who overcame both the late equaliser and a red card to defeat the reigning champions in front of their home supporters.
