Lagos State is set to shine once again as His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, hosts an appreciation reception in honour of the triumphant U-15 student athletes from Team Lagos at the 9th National Youth Games (Asaba 2025).
Under the directive of the Director-General of Sports, all Deputy Directors and Directors are invited to attend the special event scheduled for Friday, 10th October 2025, at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, by 4:00 p.m. prompt.
The dress code is Tee shirts, while the call time for briefing and the start of the Victory Parade to Alausa is 10:00 a.m. at Teslim Balogun Stadium.
This evening of celebration is not just a show of gratitude to the young champions and their coaches — including Nduka Igwe, Pade Lawal, Barakumo Loya, Jasper Tari Daniel, Umoh Edem, Olowu Olayinka, Segun Ibrahim, Lookman Oyebola, Adeola Moses, Seyi Stephen, Oriyomi Deji Kehinde, Olayiwola Alimi, and Tinuola Adebayo — but also a powerful statement of the governor’s deep investment in the future of Lagos youth.
