JUST-IN: Crown Coach Confident Of Club Promotion To premier League

Assistant Coach of Crown Football Club of Ogbomosho,Seyi Abidemi has expressed confidence that his team would get promotion from their group to Nigeria Premier League at the end of the Nigeria National League NNL.

Crown FC are in second position trailing behind Bendel Insurance in their group.Insurance have ten points, while Ogbomosho boys have nine points before the league stopped for sometime.
Out of eleven teams in the Crown FC group,only a team would clinch the ticket for Nigeria premier league.

The NNL were divided into four groups and winners in each group would be promoted to NPL after the season.

Abidemi in a telephone chat from Ogbomosho this morning said Crown FC are in better position to clinch the sole ticket from the group boasting that their promotion ticket is non- negotiable.
“The coaching staff of Crown FC headed by Oladunni Oyekale are not worried with the position of the club on the table.We have the best players in the season that can deliver for us.We have come a long way and we cannot lose the sole ticket to Insurance.Our promotion is clear and non-negotiable,”he said.

Former coach of Racine of Lagos said the the Oyo State Government is in support of the club and the players are ready to go extra mile to get a qualifications ticket for state government.
Abidemi who started his coaching career with defunct Larry FC of Lagos years ago said by the time the league restart,their next home match is against Bendel Insurance.

“Our match against Bendel Insurance would determine our fate in the league.The match would be tough considering the fact that both teams are fighting for sole ticket in the group but I want to assure our fans all over the country that Insurance would fall,”he said.

Commenting on how the head coach monitor the players,he said Oyekale and other backroom staff talked to the players on online during the lockdown as a result of covid-19.
He said Oyekale has designed a programme in such a way that all players key to it.
