Joshua Takes Time Out To Try Lyrical Rapping Skills

In what could be suggestive of preparation for a career after active sports, Nigerian-born world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Olaseni Oluwafemi Joshua has taken out time to try out some skills at lyrical, sports247.ng reports.

To set his future plans in motion, the three-belt champ linked up voices with ex-soccer star, Jamie Redknapp to reel out speedy lyrics to deliver their own version of Drake’s ‘God’s Plan.’

‘AJ’ and Redknapp went lyrical with their rhyme skills and fast-talk power in the back of a car, with fellow show panelists, Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff and comedian, Tom Davis in front.

Redknapp suggested choosing hip-hop, which led Flintoff to jokingly tell him to ‘drop the act’.
The ex-cricketer followed it up by quipping ‘You’re from Bournemouth! Straight out of Cobham!’ as Redknapp settled on a song they could free style with.

Redknapp then ordered Davis to ‘turn it up’ as God’s Plan starts playing the car and Joshua started dabbing to the song’s intro, after which Flintoff joined in by replicating the dance craze.

Joshua and Flintoff then produced a near-flawless rendition of the song’s opening salvo, to confirm that something concrete could indeed come out of it all, should they decide to take it more seriously.
