Joshua Gets Stern Warning From David Haye Ahead Of ‘Controversial’ Fight With Jake Paul

Nigerian-born heavyweight boxer, Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua has received a stern warning from a fellow-former champion of the world, David Haye that he must avoid any slip up against Jake Paul.

Sports247 reports that Joshua will step out Friday night in Miami, USA against the American social media influencer in a fight that many observers have tagged as ‘controversial.’

While another school of thought suggests that Joshua might be ready to take a dive because of the money available, Haye warned that it could be a potential career-wrecking bout for his fellow-Brit.

‘The Haymaker’ added that Joshua must not underrate the former YouTuber, who would take every little chance that comes his way to prove that he can beat boxing’s best hands without arranging a fix.

The former undisputed world heavyweight champ added that anything short of a devastating first-round demolition will be framed as failure.

Haye told Daily Mail Sport via HighBet: “Everyone thinks this fight is about Jake Paul, but it isn’t. This is about Anthony Joshua.

“Jake can get in the ring, slip over, and knock himself out, but if AJ gives Jake Paul even 30 seconds of success, he’ll be crucified.”
