JOSH MAJA SCORES A HAT-TRICK, INSPIRES BORDEAUX INTO RAMPANT VICTORY

Super Eagles attacker Josh Maja showed his prolific goalscoring ability last night against Nimes. The 20 year old scored three goals and provided an assist as they cruised into a 6-0 win.

He opened the scoring in the 24th minute, scored another in the 37th minute and finished it up in style with the last goal in the 53rd minute. Goalscorer also turned provider in the 58th minute.

However, apart from the five star performance, he also became the fourth player from Nigeria to score a hat-trick in Ligue 1. The milestone was formerly held by Osaze Odemwingie, John Utaka and Victor Igali.

The ball was answering the orders made by his legs last night. It was a perfect day in the office for the promising young talent and he is one of the stars to be wary of. Bordeaux’s next game is against Marseille on Sunday. All eyes would be on the hazardous goalscorer.
