The Ogun State-born athlete arrived in the United States with an already impressive résumé. Before joining the collegiate ranks, Caleb claimed U20 gold medals in both the 100m and 200m at the Nigerian National Championships, underlining his dominance at junior level.
He also represented Nigeria at the 2025 African U20 Championships, where he reached the final in the individual events and played a key role in securing gold in the men’s 4x100m relay.
Coming into the season, Caleb held personal bests of 10.21 seconds in the 100m and 21.19 seconds in the 200m, in addition to contributing to a 39.51 relay performance in late 2025.
