Johan Cruyff Institute has announced a ground-breaking collaboration with the Sports University of Nigeria (SUN) in bid to ensure that the landscape of sports is properly reshaped and that of education as well in Nigeria.
It will be noteworthy to know that the newly established Sports University Idumuje Ugboko, Delta State got the National Universities Commission on Thursday 12th May 2022 which was presented as an operational license to the academic institution.
“We are thrilled to announce that we have started a collaboration agreement with the prestigious Sports University of Nigeria (SUN) to reshape the landscape of sports and education in Nigeria,” the official statement began.
“This is a unique opportunity to forge a relationship between Spain and Nigeria. Nigerian athletes, coaches, managers, and sports administrators are going to benefit immensely from this partnership. I believe this partnership is the first of its kind in Nigeria and West Africa, and I think it’s going to be beneficial for both parties.”, says Bob Olukoya PhD.
