Sports247 reports that the battling midfielder joins WBA on loan for the rest of the season and, though it means he is moving from the top-flight English Premier League to now compete in the lower cadre, Jimoh-Aloba feels satisfied.

He already played six first team games with Villa after making his debut in last season’s Carabao Cup victory over Wycombe Wanderers, plus two more outings versus Crystal Palace and Cardiff City over the next couple of months.

As the youngster gets set to spend the second half of this season with The Baggies, Jimoh-Aloba said he is already relishing his new base, because he believes Albion is the place he was always meant to be.

“This was the number one place I wanted to come, because of the emotions and feelings I have towards the club. Those emotions are still in me deeply.

“This is a massive club that should be in a much better place and I want to come here to help and do the best I can. I’m determined to help lift the team.

“I was here as a kid from the age of six, so it’s a place I’m comfortable at. It’s positive for me to come back, and I can’t wait to get going,” Jimoh-Aloba stated.
