Iwobi Watches NBA Game Live In London

Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi took time out with some of his teammates to catch up with thrills of another American National Basketball League (NBA) game in London.

 

Sports247.ng reports that Iwobi was among the array of stars from several London-base football clubs that turned up at The O2 Arena to watch Washington Wizards in action against New York Knicks.

 

Iwobi was all smiles while watching Wizards roll on the strength of the ‘home’ fixture to edge out Knicks to 100-99 on Thursday night, with the 22-year-old Nigeria international also taking time out for some photos.

The Gunners’ former under-21 team captain was joined by several of his pals, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hector Bellerin, Shkodran Mustafi, Carl Jenkinson, Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira.

Also there with Iwobi were Matteo Guendouzi Rob Holding, Emile Smith Rowe, Mohamed Elneny and former captain, Per Mertesacker.

Their opponents this weekend, Chelsea trio Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ethan Ampadu and Andreas Christensen posed with fans, while former Arsenal Olivier Giroud and Lukasz Fabianski were all smiles.

West Ham United star Michail Antonio and as well as Crystal Palace players Patrick van Aanholt, Christian Benteke and Wilfred Zaha were also in attendance at the historic second NBA match in London.

New Fulham signing Ryan Babel and on loan defender Calum Chambers was also spotted, with Watford skipper Troy Deeney also in attendance.
