“It’s Football or Nothing…” 13 Years Old Nigerian Cries Out

Issac Innocent who is currently playing for Alimcity Football Academy says he won’t forgive himself if he does not become a professional footballer in future.

Innocent in a chat with sports 247.ng in Lagos said he started playing at the age of ten saying that his ambition in life is to become a great footballer.

” I am 13 years old now and I have started playing three years ago.A lof of football fans always appreciate my game and I am happy about that so if I don’t become a professional footballer in life, I won’t forgive myself because if you ask me what do I want to become in future,I will say I want to be a professional footballer,” he said.

Innocent who is SS1 student in Luton Private School revealed that his mother gives him full support to succeed in the round leather game.

He said his mother support him in cash and kind insisted that his target in life is to play for his fatherland and professional football in Europe.

Asked his strength in the game, the Akwa-Ibom born player said he is good in marking and passing.He described himself as a dependable and no-nosense defender who can stop attacker from scoring.

“I am a serious player and I don’t take nosense from any striker.My marking is superb and my passing is accurate.Like I said before I think about football always and if I don’t play it at the professional level,I won’t forgive myself,”he said.

Innocent spotted at the Baale Oki Challenge Cup where he displayed football artistry in a match against Peace FA which ended in one goal apiece at the regulation time.
