‘It’s a New Challenge’: Coach Felix Ifeanyi Nwosu (Abacha)Thanks NFF After Completing CAF B Licence Course

Coach “Abacha” has expressed gratitude to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau for providing an enabling environment for the recently concluded CAF B Licence Coaching Course.

Abacha, one of the 25 coaches who successfully finished their CAF B Licence Course, described the achievement as a “dream come true” during the closing ceremony of the fourth and final module held at the Package B of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

“It’s a new challenge and a fresh beginning for me,” said the Enugu Rangers youth team coach. “The course was demanding and rigorous, but the experience has reshaped my understanding of coaching. I am deeply grateful to the NFF and the instructors for their support and commitment to developing local coaches.”

The program was supervised by the NFF Technical Committee Chairman, Austin Eguavoen, alongside Terry Eguaoje, Head of NFF Technical Education, Amb. Henry Abiodun and other instructors.

Reflecting on his next steps, Abacha said, “The reward for hard work is success. Completing this course motivates me to do more — to teach, to impact, and to contribute to the growth of football at every level.”

At the ceremony, NFF President Gusau urged the newly certified coaches to put their knowledge into practice.

He advised them to actively engage with clubs, gain real coaching experience, and continue to build their capacity rather than rest on their new credentials.

Gusau reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening technical development and ensuring more coaches, including women, benefit from future programs.

“This is not the end but the beginning of a new phase in your coaching journey,” Gusau said.

“We are building local expertise and will continue to support every coach ready to grow and contribute to Nigerian football.”
