Experienced midfielder Isiaka Olawale warns Elkanemi Warriors must prove they are better than Rarara in the Ahlan Cup 2019 semifinal.
The two sides will face off on Tuesday, a replay of the group stage game at the ongoing pre season tournament.
“It’ll be a great game against Rarara and both teams have a great chance of reaching the Final,” said Isiaka Olawale to Ahlan Cup Media.
“We’ve got a good feeling and realise that to win the tournament, we need to beat Rarara too. We’ve got to prove we’re better on Tuesday.
“Rarara are very strong, we studied them carefully and I am sure they’ll make qualification very complicated for us. Elkanemi play with ardour, but we believe in ourselves.”
Elkanemi pipped Rarara 1-0 in an Ahlan Cup 2019 group game on Sunday.
“We were superior that day and deservedly won, but the next game won’t be easy. There’s a lot at stake and we’ll need to give our all. They attack with pace and defend very well too.”
