Insurance FC Ensure They Keep The Trophy At Home As Flight FC fly back to Gboko With Silver

Debutants, Insurance FC Feeders team of Benin City, Edo State, are the new champions of the Stephen Keshi National Under-17 Tournament after beating Flight FC of Gboko, Benue State 1-0 at the finals.

Joka Efe got the only goal for the Benin Arsenals in the 77th via a penalty after Alakwe Godstime was brought down in the 18-yard box.

Adia Sports FA of Edo State won the bronze medal after beating Gabson FC 2-1 in the third-place match.

In his speech, the Chairman of the Stephen Keshi Football And Vocational Training Center, organizers of the Stephen Keshi National Under-17 Tournament, Fred Newton Erhunmwunse, commended all the teams for putting up good fight and promised that the next edition will be bigger and better.

Boys that performed exceptionally well were all penciled down for both the National under-17 team and for deals abroad.
