Sporting Lagos and Nigeria U20 goalkeeper Ebenezer Harcourt has proudly embraced his call-up to the Super Eagles Team B squad for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN), set to be held across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda next month.
The 15-year-old, who has impressed at both club and youth national level, was named in coach Eric Chelle’s 35-man provisional list after a solid run of form with Sporting Lagos and Nigeria’s U20 side.

Speaking after the announcement, Harcourt expressed deep pride in being selected to wear the national colors. “I’m proud to wear the green and white,” he said. “This is a dream for me, and I’m embracing it with everything I’ve got.”
He credited his development to the nurturing environment at Sporting Lagos, adding, “The club has helped me grow so much. The coaches believe in me, and that has made a big difference.”
The Super Eagles Team B will open camp on July 7 at the Remo Stars Sports Institute, Ogun State. Nigeria will compete in Group D, facing Senegal, Sudan, and Congo during the tournament.
Harcourt’s call-up is widely seen as a major milestone in a career already filled with promise, confirming his rise as one of Nigeria’s brightest young football talents.
