You Have Done Remarkably Well In Anambra State Football Within This Little Time- AIG Umar .
The Chairman of Anambra State Football Association Gen. Chikelue Iloenyosi yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector of Police, Garba Umar who doubles as the Vice President International Criminal Police Organization Africa at his office in Abuja.
General Adeleke thanked him for his support and fatherly guidance while assuring him of continued partnership to use football to minimize crime in Anambra state.
I am here in my humble capacity as the Anambra State Football Association Chairman. I want to sincerely thank you for your support, you have been a father figure to me. Your guidance has helped me within this short time that I am the FA Chairman of Anambra State. What you do as a respected Police administrator in Nigeria is worthy to be emulated. The work you also do with Interpol in Africa has gotten international recognition. I am always for you. Keep doing the good work you are doing in making Nigeria and Africa safe for us.
AIG Umar who is the President of INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) Nigeria, thanked Iloenyosi for the visit and praised him for the awesome work he has done in Anambra state since he took over as the Chairman of the Football Association.
Adeleke, thank you for being here today. I am glad you made out to come to Abuja. Your wonderful works in Anambra state took you away from Abuja for a long period of time. You have always been a team player on and off the pitch. The success you have had within this short period of you taking over as the FA Boss in Anambra state is commendable. I can only wish you well. The Police will continue to partner with you to engage our youths meaningfully. Anambra State football in no distance time will be a point of reference in the Nigerian Football family. You are highly welcomed here.
This is one of the key meetings that Iloenyosi will be attending since his return to Abuja for the festive season. All these meetings will be geared towards making Anambra football better next year.
