Ikorodu City Chairman Calls For Unity, Prayers in Eid al Fitr Celebration

Honourable Toyin Gaffar, the immediate past Director-General of Lagos State and the current Chairman of Ikorodu City, has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating Eid al Fitr.

In his message, Gaffar emphasized the significance of the holy month and the values it represents. “It’s a time of honor and saying that we must not forget the message of the month itself, which is the month’s message of giving, message of love, message of unity,” he said.

Gaffar also called for special prayers for the country and the sports industry. He expressed hope that the current challenges would end in praise and joy. “I call for special prayer for the country that everything that is happening now will end in praise and joy and for Nigerian football and Nigerian sports in general,” he stated.

He further expressed his belief that the prayers of this season would reflect in the success of their endeavors, especially in sports in Lagos. “The prayer of this season would have a reflection of its success in what we do and most especially this sport in Lagos,” he added.
