Magboro FC who lost 2-0 against Bucknor FC bounced back to pick a vital win against Shuffle Select who won by three goals against G-Innovation yesterday at the Alade Stadium.

Assessing his side result and how painful the loss yesterday was, Frank allayed that the win today is like a breath of fresh air.

“In the game of football, if you don’t utilize your chances, when the opponent gets the chance, they will use it and that’s why I kept shouting to my teammates that we should score because we might end up remorseful if we don’t score those goal opportunities,” he explained in an interview with Sports247.ng.

‘Eventually we lost yesterday and I was very angry with the team as a whole but we thank God for today, we fought and we won. That’s football, we are happy and we hope to use this to win our next game tomorrow,” he added.

On his contribution as a vocal individual to the team, he said, “there’s what we call senior man in football. When it comes to pitch, you are a leader. My role as a central defender, I don’t need the captain’s armband to lead the team so I have to do my job and also encourage the boys and call them to order.”
