IKA All Stars Flagged Off In Agbor

Ika All-Stars has flagged off its training program at Igumbor Otiku Secondary School Ground.

About 20 players have Signed up to join the Team made up of players 40 Years cutting across professionals from different fields.

The Mentor of the Ika All-stars, Hon Lucky Sunday, Special Adviser to the Governor on Sports in Delta State was on the ground to welcome the players and admonished them to keep up with the program for health and socialization, “You are not playing to win laurels but to keep your body and souls together and stay healthy” he pointed out.

Coach Donald was appointed Coach of the Ika All-Stars while Benjamin Adeyemi is the Executive Secretary of the group.

The Team will train every Saturday and public holidays.

Director of KG Sports Academy A member of the Group speaking to sports247.ng lauded the Initiative and encouraged more of such among the elites to help social bonding and healthy living.

” One of the reasons people in Europe and Asia have a long Life expectancy than Africans is that as they get older they keep exercising and which helps them stay healthy” Dr. Gadaffi Stated.

” Apart from the health benefits, it’s going to be a good opportunity to unite the Ika As most other All-Stars are either Ika North East or Ika South as this is going to bring together all under one umbrella” The Erudite Sports Administrator Opined
