Iheanacho Vows His Best It Yet To Come Following Heroics Against Manchester United

Kelechi Iheanacho has stated that he aims to keep working hard to maintain his recent goalscoring form and insists that the best is yet to come from him, Sports247 reports.

The Nigerian forward scored twice and assisted the other in Leicester City’s 3-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday (Mar 21) which secured the Foxes’ place in the semi-finals of the FA cup.

Iheanacho now has 7 goals from his last 4 games in all competitions, taking his tally to 12 for the season.

“I just need to focus and keep working hard every day, hopefully, they will keep coming,” Iheanacho told LCFC TV on his goalscoring form.

“Hopefully the best is yet to come. I just need to keep working hard every day in training and hopefully, everything will fall into place,” he added.

Iheanacho is expected to join up with the Nigeria national team this week for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho.
