Sports247 gathered that Iheanacho’s current market value is £3.3m but he could jolly well be on the move out of the Scottish Premiership at the end of this season.
This is due to another blight with injury that knocked him out at a point when he appeared to be nearing his former peak form, thereby leaving him redundant at the Glasgow-based outfit.
The departure of his former manager at Leicester City of England, Brendan Rodgers, who took him to Celtic this past summer, has also added to the setbacks Iheanacho is now facing with The Bhoys.
Consequently, speculation is rising that the former Manchester City and Middlesbrough of England ace, who failed to shine last season after moving to Sevilla, could be on the move as a free agent in the summer of 2026.
That puts him on top of the most valuable lot of players set to exit the Scottish top flight, ahead of Rangers’ centre back, John Souttar (£3.1) and Kilmarnock midfielder, David Watson (£1.6m).
