Young boxing talents from the IFO community made a strong impression at the recently concluded Iyana-Ilogbo Boxing Competition, as Rohim Ganiu (27kg) and Hassan Danjuma (30kg) showcased their skills in an exhibition bout that thrilled fans in attendance.

Although the contest was an exhibition match, both fighters delivered an impressive performance, displaying sharp technique, speed, and discipline beyond their weight categories.
Their confident footwork and well-timed punches drew loud applause from the crowd, as spectators showed clear appreciation for the young boxers’ composure and talent inside the ring.
The bout served as a valuable platform for the boxers to gain exposure and experience, highlighting the growing grassroots boxing development within the IFO community.
Renowned coach Olalekan Afuye, alongside several other boxing coaches, was present at the event, offering encouragement and further underlining the importance of nurturing young talents at this level.
With the successful outing at Iyana-Ilogbo, attention now shifts to the upcoming AFY Boxing Championship, scheduled for December 28, 2025, where the IFO community hopes to continue its positive momentum and make an even stronger statement on the boxing stage.
