IDFA Super League: NAFRC Coach Lambasted Players Over Poor Performance

Crowned Academy

Head coach of the NAFRC football team, Lamre Olaleye has lambasted his players following their inability to win their home match against Crowned Academy in the ongoing Ikeja Divisional Football Association Super League.

NAFRC this morning played 1-1 with Crowned Academy at the NAFRC sports center, Oshodi.

Olaleye described the game as the worse moment for the team and confessed that if his team continue in this direction, it would be difficult to qualify for the super four.

“The way my players approached this game today showed that we could not win our opponents. I blamed my players for this draw because they were not determined and not tactically disciplined. Before the game some of my players came late to the match venue and their lackadaisical attitude towards the match was bad and we need to wake up from our slumbers in our next game,” he said.

Crowned Academy coach, Ayodele Akiko expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance and noted that his boys are better in each match.

Meanwhile, Ifeanyi Okoro drew the first blood in the 16th minute before Crowned player, Akindele Ayatu canceled a goal deficit before the first half ended.

Both teams could not find the back of the net in the second half and the effort by NAFRC to score the winning goal proved abortive.
