IDFA Plans To Organise Seminar For Coaches Ahead Ikeja Super League

In a bid to make the 2022/23 Ikeja Super League better than the previous editions, Ikeja Divisional Football Association, IDFA has concluded plan to organise a seminar for coaches to prepare themselves for future challenges.

The much anticipated coaches seminar would hold on Friday at the Conference Hall of Agege Stadium, Lagos.

The seminar according to the organisers would start from 9am and end by 5pm.

In a press statement issued by the chairman of IDFA, Elder Rafiu Alagbe said the seminar is very critical to the coaches to keep them abreast about new development of modern day football.

Alagbe further revealed that a seminar like this would help them to know more about the football management and administration of the club.

“The seminar titled ‘Principle of Play’ is not for only coaches alone, it is also for the club owners, club administrators and other football stakeholders in the industry. We are not organising this seminar just for fun but we want to organise a seminar where coaches would be drilled both practical and theory.

“We the IDFA have contacted some well known resource persons that would drill our coaches and i believe that our coaches would gain a lot at the end of the seminar,” the statement said.

The two resource persons contacted for the seminar are Coach Fatai Smith Akande and Coach Ayo Filani.

Meanwhile the seminar for the referees and draws for Ikeja Super League would hold on 18, February, 2023 at the Conference Hall of Agege Stadium.
