Ideye Eyes January Deal In German Bundesliga

Former Super Eagles striker, Aide Brown Ideye has set his sight on a deal in the German Bunndesliga, as he aims to end his career on a high, after a torrid end to his days at Tianjin Teda of China.

Although Ideye has been out of the spotlight since falling out with the Chinese Super League club, sports247.ng can report hat the all-action striker believes he can make his mark in Germany.

Ideye has stated that he would love to play in Deutschland before hanging his boots, and knows that time is fast running out for him.

Ideye, however, also spoke on a general note, as he says he would be ready to join any European team on a loan from TEDA this month.

The 30-year-old striker, who has been capped 27 times by Nigeria, for which he has six goals, last featured for Malaga in the Spanish La Liga on a short-term deal from TEDA.

He is now eager to get back into action in the fresh transfer window and, though he says playing in Germany is his best choice, Ideye appears ready to jump at any offer that comes his way in central Europe.

Ideye, who has a year left on his current deal with Tianjin TEDA, is putting forward experience gained from playing with Neuchatel Xamax, Sochaux, Dynamo Kyiv, West Bromwich Albion and Olympiakos to flaunt himself.

Ideye disclosed: “I have played in five European leagues and the experience I will love to have again.

“I have been keeping myself fit for this window and hopefully we will reach an agreement in the coming days.

“The Bundesliga is one league I will love to play in before I retire. That could happen pretty soon you never know.”
