Former Super Eagles defender Ifeanyi Udeze has heaped praise on Victor Osimhen, humorously declaring that he wishes he had played alongside the Galatasaray forward during his career.
Speaking in a lighthearted tone, Udeze said Osimhen’s sharp movement and ruthless finishing would have earned him countless assist bonuses at both club and national levels.

“I wish I played with Victor Osimhen,” Udeze said. “Why? Because I know how to feed a striker like him—I’d be collecting bonuses every week! Just put the ball there, and the rest would be history. Players like him move like bulls; once they go, no defender can stop them.”
The former West Bromwich Albion left-back laughed as he imagined himself celebrating goals from midfield, saying he would simply “raise his hands and smile” knowing Osimhen would finish every chance.
Udeze described the Nigerian striker as “a great, wonderful player,” adding that his hunger and commitment make him one of the best forwards in world football today.
