IASC UNITY CUP: Johnmax Captain Prince Emeka Makes History, Emerges As Three Times Trophy Wining Captain, Admits Tournament Is A Unifying Tool Among Members

Johnmax Property captain, Prince Emeka has set an historical feat in the history of the IASC Unity Cup competition as he today led his team to lift the trophy emerging as three times trophy wining captain.

Emeka admitted that the annual competition is a good initiative by the club as it is a viable platform of bonding, unification within members in the club.

This year’s edition of Island Allstars Unity Cup has finally come to an end. At the end of the day, many who have thought that the first game would be the closing and trophy deciding game were stunned as it ended in a goalless draw.

Johnmax Property later defeated HIQ Auto Center five goals to nothing to be crowned champions of the maiden edition of the unity Cup.

Emeka speaking in the wake of the celebration stated that whatever has a begining must have an end, “at the initial stage of this competition when we started, we won our first match, drew the second. Somewhere along the line, we couldn’t believe we are going to win the trophy because we derailed along the road.”

“But at some point, we got ourselves together with hardwork, cooperation to ensure we don’t have any issues on the field of play and dedication and that’s why we have this trophy today.”

“It was all about hardwork, dedication, and Unity.”

“And again, the beautiful thing about this tournament that we play annually every year in the club is one major event that brings members together. You noticed that all the members come together as a family. We bond, socialize, mingle and joke.”

“The banter that is involved in the game, that’s the beauty of the whole tournament.”

On what the win means to him and the John Max Properties team, he said, “let me tell you this, today I have set a record, the highest winner of the trophy, I have won this trophy as a captain three times and I don’t think anybody has that record in the club, so I have it,” he bragged.

“Three times wining captain, it’s not a joke neither is it sheer luck, it’s hardwork and organization. For us, we promised ourselves that we were going to carry this trophy, we set out to do it and today it has materialized, we give all the glory to God almighty who has made it possible for us today,” Emeka ended to join the ongoing celebration.
