After scoring 8 goals in 10 games during the recently concluded Nationwide League One (NLO) season, CITIBOI FC forward Adajoe Joseph says he is not letting early praise or performance distract him from his long-term vision: to play professional football in Europe.
“I believe in my dream,” the Bayelsa-born striker said after the season. “I know where I’m coming from and I know where I’m going. This is just the beginning, and I’m staying focused.”

Known for his explosive pace, aggressive style, and fearless finishing, Adajoe has quickly become one of the standout young strikers in the league. But rather than bask in attention, he remains grounded and committed to personal growth.
“The goals are good, but I’m not relaxing,” he said. “I want to work harder, learn more, and be ready for bigger opportunities. With God’s grace, I’ll play in Europe someday—that’s the prayer, and that’s the goal.”
CITIBOI FC officials have praised his mentality, describing him as a player whose hunger for success matches his on-field abilities.
“Joseph is not just a scorer; he’s a believer,” one coach remarked. “He trains like someone chasing something bigger, and he’s not distracted by the noise.”
Adajoe’s discipline, stamina, and sharp eye for goal have caught the attention of local scouts, but his focus remains firmly on improvement. For him, every match is preparation for the future, and every performance a message to himself—not just to others.
“I know my name will be called on bigger stages one day,” he added. “But before that happens, I’ll keep doing the work in silence.”
With that mindset, Adajoe Joseph continues to represent the belief of a champion—a belief not built on hype, but on faith, discipline, and action.
