How Super Eagles Players React To Victory Against Sierra Leone

On Thursday evening, the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone 2-1 to start off their 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers on a positive note.

On the back of two defeats against Mexico and Ecuador, Super Eagles players have reacted to the victory against Sierra Leone.

According to Rangers Midfielder, Joe Aribo, “It’s important to win our first game of the qualifiers. We can play better, we will continue to improve and we will get better. We are working with the new manager and following his philosophy,” Sports247 reports.

Some of the players took to Social media network, Twitter, to react to the game as well.

Everton midfielder, Alex Iwobi who scored the leveler for Nigeria to start the comeback tweeted, “Great Start To The AFCON2023 Campaign…”

“Sometimes we have to dig in deeper to get a result and we did today 🇳🇬🦅
