Former Super Eagles striker, Peter Ijeh has been appointed as Team Manager of Vårgårda IK Div2 side in Sweden
The Emperor as Coach Ijeh is fondly called made this available to Sports Embassy on Tuesday during the unveiling ceremony and appreciated the opportunity given to him to serve the club as one of the managerial guns.
Speaking live with our correspondent from Sweden, the former Copenhagen frontman expressed delight on the new heights and assured fans to expect paradigm progress of the club. In his words:

Discovering talents, the building of talents, promotion of talents form the basis of the structure of soccer development to which my cardinal programs would lean on. It will serve as a catalyst for the yearnings and aspirations of the fans across the globe”
The Multilingual tactician cum globetrotter, therefore, affirmed that he would set the ball rolling this week to review the coaching structure of the team for optimum performance.
“I will be meeting the entire team this weekend and restructure the coaching department to enhance performance.#InGod I Trust” the former Nitel goal poacher assured.
It would be recalled that twice has the light-skinned Striker applied for the nation under 17 jobs but was not considered for the position.
Coach Ijeh was born in March 28 1977 in Lagos State. He started his football career from the home front with the Nitel Football Club of Lagos. He proceeded to Julius Berger of Lagos in the year 2000.
Malmo was the first port of call in Europe as he navigated to prove his worth with 38 goals. He later added to the fold of IFK Göteborg with 14 goals to his credit… The Delta state origin gaffer put pen on paper with Copenhagen in 2005 where he netted chunks of goals before he pitched his tent with Viking muscling 39 goals.
The soft-spoken coach moved to Syrianska and GAIS.
He featured for Nigeria National team in the year 2002 and he is now a UEFA graded Coach with proven records.
