Alozie departs Houston after four impactful seasons with the Dash, having first joined the club in 2021 as a national team replacement player before earning a full contract later that same year. Her rise within the squad was marked by consistency, versatility, and an attacking edge from defense.
Following the 2024 campaign, Alozie signed a contract extension with the Dash, continuing her contributions at both ends of the pitch. Across all competitions, the defender recorded seven goals and two assists, underlining her ability to influence games beyond her primary defensive duties.
In total, Alozie made 80 appearances for Houston, earning 37 starts across all competitions. One of her most notable contributions came during the 2022 season, when she played a key role in helping the Dash secure a postseason berth.
She also started the quarterfinal clash against the Kansas City Current at Shell Energy Stadium, a milestone moment in the club’s recent playoff history.
The move provides Houston with additional roster flexibility through allocation money, while Chicago Stars FC add an experienced defender with proven league and international pedigree.
As the Dash continue to shape their squad ahead of the new season, Alozie leaves behind a legacy of professionalism, resilience, and commitment — qualities that will undoubtedly benefit her next chapter in Chicago.
