Varsity Academy battle Soccer city, Bethel International tackle Anibabs Academy, while Mighty Touch faces Bamise God as Danbaba Foundation keeps a date with Amajor Academy.

One match would be played on Sunday when FC Phoenix takes on Living Legend in an encounter that promises to be exciting.

Match coordinator, Niyi Adekola said the league was organized to keep football academies in Mainland busy noted that most of the players discovered in the league would be nurtured to stardom.

“We are playing the league to promote friendliness and foster relationships among players, coaches, and club owners. Aside from this, we want to discover future players that would bring glory to this state and country at large and the only way we can do that is to organize a league of this magnitude so that coaches would identify talents that we can recommend to Lagos State Football Association for future national football competitions,” he said.
