HON. SESAN DADA TOURNEY: BURUJ SPORTS ACADEMY TO FACE SELECTED FC IN THE SEMI-FINAL

After edging out Oladunjoye FC 4-3 through penalty shootouts in the quarter finals of the ongoing Hon. Sesan Dada Football Competition, high-flying Buruj Sports Academy will confront Selected FC in the semi final stage this Wednesday.

According to the organisers of the annual tournament being bankroll by the Vice-Chairman of Ikorodu West Local Government Council, Hon. Sesan Dada, the semi final game will kick off by 4.00pm at the usual venue, Alasalatu playing ground, Agric Bus Stop, Ikorodu.

And while previewing the game, the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, is bullish about the chances of his boys to scale the hurdle and move to the final.

He also disclosed that after struggling a bit before beating their last opponents by penalties, the technical crew have been working on some noticeable lapses, saying the Wednesday game against Selected FC will bring the best out of the young but very determined boys.

“We will be ready for Selected FC because we want to get to the final, win the cup and use it to be part of our celebration trophies during our forthcoming 10 anniversary music and football carnival holding on December 24.”

“We have been working on our boys to prepare them both physically and mentally for the match so that we will not need to go through the tension of penalty shootouts again.
