Hon. Koleosho Promises To Revive Sports In Ifelodun LCDA

All Progressive Party local government chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Nurudeen Olatubosun Koleosho has promised to revive sports which is in a doldrum in Ifelodun LCDA of Lagos State.

Speaking with journalists in his Amukoko office, the youthful politician cum successful businessman, who is presently the vice-chairman of Ifelodun LCDA, opined that there are urgent needs to revive sports in the LCDA.

While restating the powers of sports as a socio-economic reengineering tool, Koleosho promised to take due advantage of sports to empower the youth of Ifelodun LCDA, when gets elected into the chairmanship seat.

” I am an unrepentant sports lover. And I am truly passionate about sports and its inherent powers as a life-changer,” Hon. Koleosho enthused.

” By His grace, when I get elected as chairman of Ifelodun LCDA, I shall use sports as a veritable tool to empower and encourage youths in my local government, in order to engender development, as well as, a better life for my people.

On probings about the prospects of talents discovery and development in Ifelodun LCDA, Hon. Koleosho, a strong football lover, recalled with fond nostalgia the past exploits of the likes Hogan Jimoh, Hunter Clay, and of course, the recent impressive achievements of boxing sensations, Laide Fijabi, Rilwan Oladosu, and others, who grew up in the Mosafejo- Amukoko- Alaba-oro axis, and have continued to fly the flag of the Ifelodun LCDA in the world of boxing.

” Ifelodun LCDA is truly blessed with an abundance of energetic, strong, and truly talented youth. And my government shall do all it can to revive sports and of course, relive the past glories in sports,” he remarked.

While admitting the dearth of basic sports facilities in the LCDA, Hon. Koleosho promises to address the challenges and ensure youths, athletes, and sports enthusiasts are provided with necessary facilities that would help to improve their health and also develop their careers in sports.

” Lack of basic sports facilities is a major problem that I promise to tackle and defeat in order to provide my people with life and careers enhancing opportunities. It is achievable. As a sports lover, I understand the importance and of course, the need to provide sports facilities for the good people of Ifelodun LCDA, ” he enthused confidently.
