Highflying Jazzy Stars FA Humbled By A No nonsense Kwara United Side

Jazzy Stars Football Academy of Jos, whose scintillating performance here in Ilorin have been setting tongues wagging, in the ongoing AMAPRO Scouting Tournament, was brought down to earth by Premier League side, Kwara United football club, as they were walloped 4-0.

Speaking to journalists after the friendly encounter, the Afonja Warriors Technical Adviser, Abdulahi Bidemi Biffo, despite the wide margin defeat still commended the team as a technically balanced side.

According to him, “This team called Jazzy Stars is tactically and technically sound, their level of play is far beyond the grassroots level they operate in, very young team with exceptional players. I can tell you, at least four of the boys I saw in this team today will not be at this level in the nearest future.”

On his own part, the Chief Coach of Jazzy Stars Football Academy, Caleb Theophilus Yepieng, commended the Coach Biffo tutored side for waking his boys up to reality even as they battle it out with NNL side, ABS FC of Ilorin in the quarter-final of the AMAPRO Scouting Tournament.

According to him, “This defeat is coming at the right time as it will take away that overconfidence in them that they can be beaten after all as we face another tough opponent in ABS FC tomorrow in the ongoing AMAPRO competition.”

Ufere Chinedu got a brace, one via penalty, Lateef Abiola and Shola Abdulrahman were the other scorers. It ended Kwara United FC 4 Jazzy Stars FA 0.
